LucyTheSuccubus
I play the game for several days now. New thing is that I have a multi monitor setup. The thing is that my mouse isn't properly catched inside the New Vegas fullscreen (or windowed borderless) mode, yes I tried this already with the ENB setting, didnt help.Often, especially with the mouse wheel, it goes on my other desktop and starts applications randomly... It is really a pain in the ass. For some reason it doesn't even help to shut the screen off. Virtually my desktop seems still to be there. I didn't find a successful way to fix this issue yet. You would think someone maybe made a mod or plugin for NVSE/JIP LN but no, nobody did, it seems. Any ideas or experiences?
dubiousintent
Most likely this is a problem with your mouse driver's "advanced" settings. (I run a dual monitor setup with "OneTweak" for windowed borderless control without issues.) The FNV game engine really only supports standard vanilla MS mouse functions. Please see the several "Mouse" entries under the the 'Solutions to Control problems' section in the wiki "Fallout NV Mod Conflict Troubleshooting" guide. -Dubious-
LucyTheSuccubus
None of those ideas helped. Didn't seem to have anything to do with it.I didn't try OneTweak's borderless hack though. Only the one from ENB and it made no difference in comparison to the normal fullscreen. What fixed it for me, was using a program named Dual Monitor Tools. There is a setting to lock the mouse to a certain screen with a hotkey.I always activate it before launching New Vegas and no problems anymore since then. Just thought I leave this here for others with the issue.
dubiousintent
Thanks for reporting back with your solution. Added to the "Troubleshooting" guide as "Cause-2" under "Mouse Controls". -Dubious-
