Deleted1610109User
Hey all, having some issues with CTD around Whiterun and I was wondering if any of you would be able to help me! I am sure I have just been a derp and it is some mod installed wrongly but for the life of me I can not find the troublesome mod. My modlist is as follows https://puu.sh/xTCEN/8f9000c8a4.pnghttps://puu.sh/xTCFG/bfc3603fa3.png the exact point that I am crashing is just a few seconds up the road from here http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1163335297 it is on the map around here http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1163335315 Any help or advice is appreciated and thank you for taking the time to look at this! yian
Have you organized your mods with LOOT yet? Why are you not using a merged patch? Have you updated Skyrim SSE recently? If yes, then isyour S/kSE64 up to date?
Deleted1610109User
Yes I have used loot for my load order, I am not using a merged patch as I have never needed to in the past and I don't know how (I can just look it up and do it if it will help fix the issue), yes I have updated and yes it is. yian
I would try to make a merged patch and a bashed patch first and see if that works out. This is usually true when you started to use a lot of mods. Use SSEEDit for a merged patch. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/164/? And use Wrye Bash for a bashed patch. Ignore and uncheck everything except the leveled list function; you want your bashed patch handle only the level list (because everything else doesn't quite work. Don't try to merge your mods with it either.) https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/6837/? If the crash persists, try disable Warzone and see if it helps since it is the biggest mod on the list. These are the general tips I could offer for you since you have a big mod list. Always start a new game when you uninstall a mod. Edited October 9, 2017 by yian
yian
Also, by the way, are you using any Oldrim mods? If you are using some of them directly without conversion, expect instability as you play more. Some old mods will eventually screw up your game. Deleted1610109User
Well I have tired all of the things listed following these two tutorials https://www.reddit.com/r/skyrimmods/comments/255l0u/merged_patch_guide/ https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/36189/?tab=3&selected_game=110&navtag=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fskyrim%2Fajax%2Fmodimages%2F%3Fid%3D36189%26user%3D1%26gid%3D110&pUp=1 With no luck and disabled warzones. if you have any other ideas please let me know
paulobrito
Same in that area, but in my case is freezing the game - need to sign-out in task manager.BTW, never get that before the CC 'downgrade'. On feet or on horse, in that general area get a lot of freezes - not only in the road, also in the wilderness.
yian
Man, sorry to hear that. That's all my tricks. :( If you wish, I suggest you start form scratch. This time install one mod at the time, and read the comment section of the mod to see if there is any bugs reported by others. (If it happens to someone else there is a chance it could happen to you.)
Deleted1610109User
All right, well thank you so much for the help and time you gave. Also Paul I doubt my issue is the same as yours as our mod lists probably vary a lot.
