ScottyDoesKnow
I have a mod that's organized like so: MyMod_MainMyMod_Main_DLC (req Main, and all DLC)MyMod_AddonA (req Main)MyMod_AddonA_DLC (req Main, and all DLC)MyMod_AddonB (req Main) From a quick search, it looks like you can't do optional files on Bethesda.net. So a couple questions:To get the same functionality, would I have to upload 5 different mods with MyMod_Main manually merged into each one?Is there an easier way to merge mods than manually through FO4Edit? JonathanOstrus
Nope that's pretty much it.
ScottyDoesKnow
Ya, I ended up just manually merging. It wasn't as bad as I thought, I didn't realize you could create an override into a master esp which made it pretty quick. Cut it down to 2 versions as separate mods, which means I only have 5 mod pages to manage! Hope Bethesda makes it easier in the future.
Zzyxzz
Create a mod page @Bethesda and create a link to nexus :D
steve40
Yeah, it's a pain. For that reason, I have refrained from putting the PC versions of my mods on Beth, while the console versions are simpler implementations that don't require compatibility patches. Even so, I still have about 50 mod pages to manage across several sites

Even so, I still have about 50 mod pages to manage across several sites  After some discussion with friends I've come to the decision that any further pc mods will be only on nexus, any console mods will get 1 version requiring all dlcs if applicable. Like you stated it gets to be tedious at best to manage that crazy mess. I have one mod that I was working on similar to what was described above. Support no dlc, then additional things for each one, support for pc or xbox. In total that would make like 12 mod pages just for Beth.net. That's getting reduced to 1, possibly 2 if I decide to strip some stuff out for PS4 users, and 1 on nexus. Much easier to manage.
Urtho
Cripes just reading this thread is putting me off of uploading to Beth.net. I've gotten requests to put some of my mods up there and aside from the PS4 users that wouldn't be able to use them anyways due to the Sony authoritarians, reading this isn't encouraging me to take the plunge anytime soon. I mean really, 12 different mod pages just for a single actual mod? Gah what a f-ed up system they've got.
