Put assault rifle in second main weapon slot

I am wondering, would it be possible to have e.g. an assault rifle in the second main weapon slot, so visually its on the back instead of on the hip?

If so, can someone tell me what value i have to change in which .lua file?

This is easily the mod I want most and no one has tackled or even talked about it.
