LilaLipetti
I was just playing around with creation kit and started looking at cells. Can someone explain what the render window title means? http://i209.photobucket.com/albums/bb255/Dj_Romy_Fi/Skyrim/RenderWindow.png In almost all cells there is some kind of "size" showed ( xx MB / 157 MB )?Is the 157 MB some kind of max size of a cell? And what does it mean? And how the size is estimated/caluated? As the BleakFallsBarrow1 seems like quite big (136,37 MB/157 MB) compared to BrokenOarGrotto01 (104 / 157) ? Just wondering if I want to make big cave, it's better to create the basic layout with the bigger objects like CaveEpic* rather than CaveSmall*? GomuGomu64
157MB is the total amount of GPU/VRAM that can be used by the rendering window, methinks. Size is probably estimated by the number of scripts/polygons
Sunnie
157MB is a memory usage amount for the raw assets used in the cell you are rendering. It is an arbitrary number used as an "optimum" guidline. Most of the city worldspace cells go significantly over this number, some more that 2.5x. I and others have had no issues running interior cell content to 1.5x that.
