fifthrevolution
I tried looking for a mod that wouldn't do anything other than remove the blue tint from the chest piece in the Feline armor set, but was unable to find one. If someone could create a mod that does this for all the different tiers (including Grandmaster) without affecting dye-ability or drastically editing the textures, I'm sure people other than me would appreciate it as well. I have no experience with Witcher modding myself but it seems it shouldn't be horribly complex to do (I know that at least "Cat Gear Reworked" removes it, but that one also changes the textures/overall feel of the set). Thanks in advance to anyone who would be up to doing this! Edited October 14, 2017 by fifthrevolution
nemeyeth
You can check the mod called old quality witcher armors - it makes the armor less blue and the textures are better ;)
fifthrevolution
From what I can gather from the comments, that mod apparently doesn't work with the dye system? What I'm looking for is a mod that only removes/edits that blue (specular?) colour from the feline armors and doesn't make any changes that would prevent me from using dyes on the pieces. khatan
It's simply not possible....dyes are coded directly to b&w new textures....why do you think they retextured witcher gear?? to fit the new code....any change what so ever like black feline gear etc...would prevent the dyes from functioning at all
fifthrevolution
Oh man, that's a bummer. Thanks for letting me know, though! Saves me the trouble of learning how to edit the textures/models and then realizing it won't work anyway.
