Quick Mojave Outpost Statue mesh edit

I just need someone to take the Mojave Outpost statue of the 2 guys shaking hands and delete the one guy.

I tried doing it, but I can't get the plugins to export to nif.

There are 2 files

The statue and the statue Lod

Both files need the one guy removed so there is only one guy standing there. Remove collision and all that.

I just want the cowboy looking guy, by himself. With collision.

If you have the skills to put his arm down by his side that would be great, if not that's fine too.

Thank you, I'll try it out right now see how it works. I'll let you know. Is removing, or redoing collisions for items hard? If I knew how to do that I could make a lot more edits to models.

Alright I tried it in game, and it worked with no collision. Works exactly how I wanted so thank you. To be honest I don't even know what to do with the LOD nif. Do you put it in the same spot as the other nif or.....?

I walked pretty far away from the statue and it stayed in view with out that LOD nif so idk.

It's just another mesh,so deleting it isn't hard in blender. It's easy to remove in nifskope, but I don't know how to select specific vertices in nifskope so editing is kinda out. As far as creating a new one, I find it difficult so I copy existing properties

It goes in teh same directory/folder; X:\my steam path\Fallout New Vegas\Data\meshes\architecture\mojaveoutpost

For example on my system it is D:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout New Vegas\Data\meshes\architecture\mojaveoutpost

It has to be renamed from nv_mojoutpost_statue01_lodedited.nif to nv_mojoutpost_statue01_lod.nif

Also your better off making a new post in a thread then editing a post, as I won't get a notification from nexus if you edited your message....and therefore no indication that you replied, unless I'm perusing the board for another reason.

I tried using Blender but the way I was doing it was deleting one spot at a time and it was taking way too long so I gave up.

I know where to put the nif, folder wise. I mean I don't know what the Lod one does or goes in Geck. I put the regular nif into my game, put it in the worldspace, it shows up, it works. I don't know what to do with the lod nif. Do I put it in the exact same spot as the regular nif in the worldspace? Idk if that makes sense or not.

Hit up some of the blender tutorials, <ctrl> <L> will selectd connected vertices, and you can select everything in a region (sorry not the technical term)

Generating part of the wasteland (as opposed to a little mini world for a new mod) is a.......process. You'll want to check some tutorials, it can take some serious time and cpu cycles on your rig. Mad mongo had some posts on it in this forum, he's probably a lot more knowledgeable about it than I. There's also some mods dealing with LOD that appears to have made the process more approachable/manageable. But It's not my forte.
