Beebww Posted March 11, 2012 Share Posted March 11, 2012 So I have windows 7 64 bit and I have 8 gigs of ram installed but It doesnt feel like skyrim is using its full 4 gig capability and when I go to check it out looks like its only using 2 how can I be sure and if it isnt how can I make it do so Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Besides, Skyrim only uses what it needs. My RAM, of which I have 4GB, is usually hovering around 75%. Since you have 8GB, if you open the Task Manager while playing Skyrim and it's using 26% or more, then it's working. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Beebww Posted March 11, 2012 Author Share Posted March 11, 2012 Meaning Im still having the same problems that are caused by low memory such as the occasional textures and meshes missing upon entering a building.
