Losing vanilla menus

I recently wanted to try some new building mods so i can have a more diverse choice of building i downloaded a few and i didn't like them so i deleted them completely from my NMM. Before deleting them i had all my workshop vanilla menus, after deleting the mods i come back into the game to see several menus deleted. I cant remember all the mods i downloaded and deleted. A few are Alternative settlers or something? SKE? Simply modular housing, and about two more i believe. Here are some screenshots of my mods and some of the mods i deleted.

Many settlement-related mods require an additional uninstall step. Like there's usually an item like a holotape that you have to use in-game to have them uninstalled properly, otherwise menus do get messed up, especially if the mod(s) in question added their own custom menu spots in your workshop menu. If you start a new save, I'm willing to bet the menus will be there. I'm not sure what can be done to rectify the menus of your current save, though, other than reinstalling certain mods, like settlementkeywords.

P.S./EDIT - Try reinstalling the mods you deleted. If you aren't sure, go to the download history tab on the Nexus website, it's under the "Files" button, and read the descriptions about installation, and if there are any steps to uninstall. Then after reinstalling the mods, make sure you go to a save that had them, and uninstall them properly before deleting them entirely from your system.

If i re-download settlement keyword expanded would i have to re-download the exact specifications i downloaded it on? or just default and try finding the uninstall item? Or are you unsure?

You should try to re-download the exact specifications. I am not sure how much it matters for it to be exact, the only way to know for sure is to try it.

after some trail and error and deciding to go back a few saves everything seems to be fine thanks so much :D i guess i should read more XD
