Vapierin
Hi all, i recently downloaded the XCE (Xenius Character Expansion) Pack and found that none of the facepaints, eyes etc. were loading their textures (they were in the character customisation menu but when you clicked on them you couldn't see any change). after looking through some related articles to this problem, i found that you need the following written into your fallout4 custom ini file (found in documents>my games>fallout 4) in order for XCE to work properly: [Archive]bInvalidateOlderFiles=1 sResourceDataDirsFinal= So i went and added those lines and saved it, and boom problem solved.... However, soon after i noticed that the BOS Uniforms had a "pink glow" over the actual textures. So then i went and removed the afor-mentioned lines from my fallout4 custom ini file (including the "[Archive]" line) and hey presto! BOS Uniforms back to normal. In short, it seems when it comes to any mod that requires the whole [Archive] thing in FO4custom ini file, for some reason the game doesnt like those particular lines being written into the custom ini file and will not be able to load BOS Uniforms properly, so you can either have whatever mods that require that command to be written in, or the BOS Uniforms loading in correctly, cant have both unless there's a fix i don't know of.. Well hope this helps anyone else having this problem, that was all... and if there is a way to fix this, please respond and let me know! your fellow Fallout 4 fan, Vapierin Edited October 15, 2017 by Vapierin
RoxyLuffer
Doesn't that disable ALL mods though?
