Deleted8664835User
Hi guys! As you might know, Skyrim has some issues related to sound channels. By default, the game seems to outpout 5.1 sound, which means that you lose a lot of sound detail with regular stereo headphones. Normally there are workarounds for that in Realtek settings (what I did is turning on 5.1 and then disabling every speaker except Left and Right).BUT, now I use a DAC-amp with my headphones, which is not supported by Realtek. And I don't have any settings related to sound channels (the DAC-amp is driverless). Sounds like menu effects, foot steps, etc. are very low, nearly impossible to hear. Voices are very low too. Just increasing overall sound doesn't really help because this problem does not effect every sound, only particular channels. Just cranking up the volume would make the rest too loud. So basically, despite having expensive headphones and DAC-amp, I still have garbage sound in Skyrim. Thanks Bethesda.Anyways... do you guys know a possible fix for this? Maybe some .ini settings to manyally disable/fuse channels into stereo? Perhaps some mods? (there's a lot of different mods and I admit I don't know which one to chose for this specific problem). Thank you very much in advance for your help! Edited October 15, 2017 by Guest
