Crossbow weapons request

Hello all,

 

I have tried to do this myself, but unfortunately there is no possible way to make the toolset work so you people are my last hope.

 

I have played through the Dragon Age : Origins+DLC+Awakenings multiple times, and I totally adore it.

One thing that has always bothered me was the fact that

 

A: crossbows were useless

B: there was only a small amount of unique crossbows when compared to the amount of uniques for other weapon types.

 

I have downloaded a mod that links crossbows to dexterity so the useless part is fixed, but unfortunately I did not find any mods that would add some new crossbows to the game.

And I would love to start a warrior archer that uses crossbows ( in addition to a bow wielding rogue).

 

I am not sure how much work it would be for an experienced modder, but I would be very grateful if someone could create some unique crossbows with unique stats for me.

Nothing truly gamebreaking, just so that the amount of unique crossbows is at the same level ( or slightly higher) as all other weapons.

 

These crossbows would be drops from hard locked chests, hard bossfights ( like dragons, broodmothers, disciples in awakening, etc) and some merchants.

I would be more then happy to think of names, descriptions, stats, and the place where they drop, if someone that has the toolset installed and wants to help me, is willing to create the corresponding files.

 

I know its probably a lot to ask with nothing else to offer but my gratitude,

But I thought it would be worth the shot.
