Freezing Saves

I've hit a bit of a snag with one of my characters that doesn't seem to be affecting others, which is that occasionally when trying to save via quicksave or menu save, the game just freezes as it starts but before it finishes. No CTD or anything, just freezes. Sometimes it will let me save a few times before it freezes, sometimes its right away, and it seems to refresh every time I restart the game itself. This only just started recently as well, and just on the one character. The only thing I can think of is that I had used ECE's race menu changes to do a few tweaks on the problem save, which would for some reason create a different save slot for the exact same character, and had a couple weird crashes or unloadable post-saves. Have tried using ReSave to clear up old scripts, which may or may not have helped earlier, but the problem resurfaced. Any ideas or input would be fantastic.

Unfortunately, disabling PC Headtracking did nothing, and it still froze on saving.

 

EDIT: Nevermind, I had uninstalled it incorrectly. Went back and cleaned up scripts on the save after doing it right and it has yet to freeze on me. Its strange, because it wasn't doing the same thing on another file.

The mod worked for me too for a while, then began to freeze, check out site they talk about the problem, working on a fix too

I don't think you can salvage a save that involves scripts like that. Have you tried starting a new game after you uninstalled headtracking?

Yeah, creating a new character and save worked just fine. Been playing a few hours now, no further problems. Still strange how it only seemed to affect one character, might have been an oopsie with the scripts on that save.
