Collision for world model of a custom armor

Hello, I created a piece of armor myself and imported it in CK to get a stand alone version. When I try to locate the world model nif file which I created earlier, the preview render window reveals nothing. Then I realized that the mesh I created lacks collision. What really bothers me is no matter what I do with the collision, it either crashes both CK and the game, or it doesn't appear at all (like we all know what the static model does is you can see and kick it when you toss is on the ground, but this just did not happen in my case). I tried to add bhkrigidbody in 3dmax to my mesh and set the collision to convex and export, then the nifscope shows nothing from my exported file. Then I pasted the Nitrishape of my mesh to an existing world model of vanilla glass armor which does have collsion in it, it crashes CK whenever I locate the world model. How am I supposed to friddle around with the collision and get it show up correctly in game. I know that many people know how to do this cuz those existing armor mods all contain a good world model. Help please! Thanks in advance.

I too am having this exact problem. I've made weapons before and they worked fine. Hell, the armor I made is skinned and working in-game the only thing that refuses to work is the world-model which SHOULD be the simplest thing to make.

So bumping rather than make a new thread. PLEASE anyone help?

Unfortunately, as far as I'm aware we are currently unable to make collision of any kind, except for convex collision for statics (NOT havoked things like items). This is handled entirely in nifskope; you'll find details here, in part 4.

Luckily there's a very simple workaround for havoked items: Copy the collision from a similar-shaped vanilla .nif.
