BrotherLaz
Perhaps I'm just an idiot, but I don't see how to do it. Wherever there is a model reference ("Clothes\FarmClothes01\1stPersontorsom_1.nif") in any form, the reference itself is greyed out and not editable. There is an Edit... button next to it, which gives me a Windows file browser, which I cannot use to retrieve files inside the .esm archive. Pasting the desired model name copied from another entry in this file browser gives me a file not found error (of course). And pressing cancel then blanks out the reference altogether. What to do? reaper9111
Dude, this is not detail at all...what the hell are you asking us... what program are you talking about ?, what exactly are you attempting to do ? Have you look for tutorial first ?
Rennn
You can't get files from the .bsa archives unless you extract them with bsaopt first.http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=247 Also, esm files do not actually store any assets. You'll want to look inside the .bsa archives. Edited March 12, 2012 by Rennn
BrotherLaz
Dude, this is not detail at all...what the hell are you asking us... what program are you talking about ?, what exactly are you attempting to do ? Have you look for tutorial first ? Yet these are all over the place in the CK: http://i44.tinypic.com/2rh34ls.png http://i40.tinypic.com/35at6xt.png Notice there is no way to manually enter a location, and when you click on Edit there is no way to get at the files inside an archive because it brings up a file browser. Any suggestions as to how I change these values?
Dragten
If you copy a file path from one object, then press "edit" and paste the path, you will get the mesh working, even if you have not extracted it.
BrotherLaz
This doesn't seem to be working for me. When I click edit, paste and click Ok, I get an error telling me the file was not found. Do you happen to be navigating to a specific directory? http://i40.tinypic.com/n5lmcj.png No matter what I put here, I get an error and then the model reference that was already here vanishes. :( Edited March 12, 2012 by BrotherLaz
Dragten
You sure that you paste the text into your "Bestandsnaam" field?Just for a try, copy this (same file path that stands in your current item) Clothes/FarmClothes01/1stPersontorsof_1.nif
BrotherLaz
Error: http://i42.tinypic.com/f0nepe.png "The file name is invalid" When I try it with backslashes, I get http://i40.tinypic.com/2akd2ep.png Edited March 12, 2012 by BrotherLaz
Dragten
That is most strange, it does work for me without any problems.Sorry, I have no idea how to fix it. :( The only way I can suggest is to extract everything you need from the BSA
