wallofice
I previously installed Skyrim using this same disc, but uninstalled and was going to reinstall. When I put in the disc, the computer tries to read it, but nothing ever happens. When I open up windows explorer and try and double click on my DVD drive (F:), Windows Explorer freezes and won't respond until I eject my DVD drive. Everything works perfectly as soon as I press the eject button. When I put the disc in my dad's laptop, a dialog popped right up asking what I wanted to do, so it's a problem with my drive... I have a brand new laptop, the game's been installed before, and I can put other DVD games in and it works fine. This is the info I found through dxdiag, I'm not sure if it'll help. Let me know if you need any other information. Gandaug
I'm not sure about your problem, but you could try entering your CD-Key in Steam to download and install that way. It may not be your first choice. Just an option if all else fails.
