Not CTDs though - my experiences with maxing out the mod count have been really serious graphical glitching (such as the ground texture being projected in the sky, or everything going red triangles, etc.). AFAIK, those don't even start loading until you crank up the game engine, either loading a save game or starting a new one. If you're not getting to the main menu, you have something else going on. AFAIK, those don't even start loading until you crank up the game engine, either loading a save game or starting a new one. Not using a merged patch, try to keep it in the 50 to 60 range. as for fixing your particular problem. Try running BOSS, and if that doesn't sort out the issue for you, go back and start deactivating the mods that you added before your crash one by one and see if it's a particular mod causing the problem. you can also permenantly deactivate mods you don't really use anymore. Things like armors you got bored with or mods that had the potential to be unstable(Mod authors usually make mention of this in their readmes) are the first things you want to take out. Other than this, there's a variety of stability mods that you can make use of. Though, I get the feeling seeing as you're using FNV edit you're not a newbie to modding.It might help if we can get a look at your load order. Though, I get the feeling seeing as you're using FNV edit you're not a newbie to modding.It might help if we can get a look at your load order. thats what i did i started deactivating mods until it ran, then i would add 1 more and deactivate a different one it would run ok just couldt go past last one. not sure of load order now i deactivated all mods and am going to start over. i use Fomm what Mod manager allows you to merge a patch?
