Pentigan
Empire. Firstly because they can move resources all through Tamriel, secondly because they have more formalised training and thirdly they have much stronger equipment.
vinh834
Personally, I find it strange that in other games, the imperials had tough-looking strong plate armor, whereas in Skyrim, most of them seem to be wearing light armor. I believe that this is due to the weaker economic state of the empire due to the great war. An example of this would be in skyrim, where you find the east empire trading company to be very poor, but you eventually help them rise again. As a result, I do think that it is a possibility that the empire will rise again and afford better armor for their troops eventually.
etang2
You can destroy an entire storm cloak outfit easily but imperials are a tad harder in my view. Also there is a lack of soldier in general in the vanilla version.
etang2
also on a side note, the forsworn archers are the best faction units(30 Forsworn Archers Vs 60 Imperial Archers, Imperials no match at all)

etang2
neither the best euipment is the one that you create :)Very True, there is no best weapon or best armour in the game, it's all relative to your game style and charcter archetype. If youve chosen one that is
Pyronide
me and ulfric are BFFs annihilating people's faces by shouting at them, like true warriors! stormcloaks ftw Edited March 12, 2012 by Pyronide
Pentigan
Ulfric doesn't use his Shout as much as I thought he would. Also NPC Shouts are somehow much weaker than player ones, compare the effects of Draugr Unrelenting Force to the player's.
BrettM
Ulfric doesn't use his Shout as much as I thought he would. Also NPC Shouts are somehow much weaker than player ones, compare the effects of Draugr Unrelenting Force to the player's.Ulfric and the Draugr are not Dragonborn, but just regular Nords (or their undead corpses). It takes ordinary humans years of training to learn even a little about using the Voice. It takes a lifetime to learn to master it as well as the Graybeards, at which point you're too old to go out and be a warrior. Ulfric doesn't seem to have any great aptitude at it. IIRC, the Graybeards tell you he studied with them for a few years and went away knowing only a basic shout or two. But power is relative, and the little he knows would still be impressive to a modern Nord warrior. They have no experience with this sort of combat because it has become a matter of legend to them. It may be too bad that the Graybeards and the Way of the Voice brought about this cultural change. The Thalmor would have to think twice about taking on warriors trained as Tongues in the old tradition. Ask the Snow Elves.
