PiggyGamer
Well just yesterday I downloaded OOO and...haven't played much, haven't even gotten out of the prison/sewers yet but yeah anyways, When I was setting up the mod, it kept saying how to set it to make it "how it was meant to be played", and it's all about making the game more "realistic and difficult", but I was just wondering if there's a certain difficulty the mod is "meant to be experienced" at? I've got my bar to like 3/4 of the way to the right, and I was taking the first couple rats down in like two...fire attacks...whatever that's called. But then the first zombie killed me in like three hits, and who knows how the difficulty is gonna fluctuate as I progress. Anyways, basically what I'm asking is like, what difficulty do all you peoples who use OOO play your games at? Is it "meant" to be played at a certain difficulty, like with the bar half-way or something? Btw that's the only mod I have so far, plus of course the bundled Harvester thing and Living Economy. billypnats
I play at 100% with FCOM (all the major overhaul mods combinedincluding OOO) but thats cus I got really powerful custom weapons to balance it. (with normal weapons you have to literally keep hitting enemies till your weapon breaks). I have to admit, OOO is a bit overly difficult (what kind of bandit doesn't die even if you hit them 10000 times? so yea download some custom weapons that look cool and edit the damage so that its even. I die in 3 hits but so does my enemy =D

ElderGamer1
All the explainations of OOO are included in the (many) read-mes. The difficulty bar has made some fights alittle easier and some no effect at all. From what I see it's within the mod (choices available) On the last part of my installation after the BASE was in, I had a chance to put a check on certain things. If you understand how to check what, then it's right there for you. They recommened the Mod Manager for Oblivion to controll things. I do not know how to work it yet. Good luck. The tools are super if you know the (How-to's) Then maybe you can teach me! lol.....Also there are mods /compatible with OOO to really make things tough besides the Full/Lite vers.
