hobs0n
I am stuck on the main quest and I need help ;) Since I play Morrowind on and off I cant quite remember exactly what Ive done. Ive read some FAQs and Walkthroughs but Im still stuck. When I talk to Caius Cosades he says that I should go to Tel Fyr and get that corprus disease cured and then hurry back because he thinks that he has found a way to get those Lost Prophecies that Nibani Maesa asked for. I have given the Dwemer artifact to Diyath Fyr and talked to him but I can only ask about "divine disease" and according to a walkthrough I need to ask about "divine disease" and "corprus disease" to get him to say that corprus makes you immune to disease and then I should say that I might become the Nerevarine but since I cant ask about "corprus disease" that option never comes up. When I go to Mehra Milo she says that I should get a copy of "Progress of truth" for Caius Cosades but I have that book and Caius doesnt mention it. I think I have already given him that book but Im not sure. I asked some Ordinator guards and found out that a Dissident priests guy is held in the Ministary of truth but when I fly up there I cant find him anywhere, I have searched the place several times, including the prison cells. So what am I to do here? Can the game have bugged out? Sorry if the post is in the wrong place or that this info is somewhere but I didnt find it in that case ;) Thanx in advance/vargtass
Malchik
Fyr should have an option to talk of Corprus cure. He asks you to get boots from the Last Living Dwarf. When you fetch them for him he will cure you. This comes some time after you have talked to Mehra Milo about the The Progress of Truth. In fact Caius does not mention the book, or take it from you, if you have it. If you don't have it, he will not give you further instructions. Then you go to see an Ashlander in Ald Ruhn and the Urshilku (who test you in various ways). You are sent to Ilunibi where you end up with Corprus - this should be where you are. The dissident priest in the MOT is an irrelevance as he is not there unless masquerading as a common criminal. After you return from Tel Fyr cured of Corprus and spoken to Caius you will have a valid reason for entering the MOT. So, either somehow you have screwed the game, or something in that link of events has not yet been completed properly. I hope this helps.
hobs0n
Thanx I will double check all that. Dyath Fyr doesnt mention corprus disease so I cant get any further there, maybe later when I have done more..? Anyways I got tired of the main quest, its just so freaking boring. Im doing the Bal Molagmer quests now instead :) Ill post again if I need more help ;) Thanx!
Malchik
You can't have been to Ilunibi yet. If you had contracted Corprus you would know because the longer you leave it uncured the more it damages your statistics. If you don't have Corprus the dialogue topic will not be available with Lord Fry. IMO many of the main quests are a bit dull but the Urshilaku burial caverns and Ilunibi are more interesting than most and you'd probably gain by going back to them. Have a look in your journal and find out which quests are open. Then I can tell you where you are.
