SSE Nifskope body not appearing in the Creation Kit

Hi, I'm trying to give my new follower a body with the roughspun tunic instead of the naked/underwear body to prevent nudity, but the body doesn't show up. Trying to add it as a skin instead of a whole new race or so. At first I could see the roughspun tunic at least but now that has disappeared as well. I have copied over all the necessary bones in both the hands and feet but not even the main body shows up. I don't know why. It saved without problems.

 

I am looking to do as ShinglesCat did on her SC - Narandil Follower

 

I.e. instead of the robes I am trying to use the roughspun tunic. Could it be that my body is based on CBBE?
