Deleted30920795User
Frostfall versions later than 2.6 don't have the ability to light vanilla campfires. Chesko mentioned his desire to add this functionality back in, but he never did. Are there any mods that add a similar function and that are compatible with Frostfall? I found and installed Dynamic Things, only to realize that while it worked just fine, the campfires were not recognized by Frostfall. And while making Dynamic Things create a Frostfall compatible campfire is probably not too difficult, I am too tired of having to alter/change/fix every other mod I install and at this point I just wan't to play the game I've been setting up for the last month. But it seems every few minutes of gameplay I discover a new issue. If I hadn't invested a good 15-20 hours already in this playthrough, I'd just go back to Frostfall 2.6 which, besides it's crusty code base, it worked great. Sigh... Perhaps I'll just use the console to disable the unlit vanilla campfires I find, and pretend there was no campfire there. AnkhAscendant
Using the latest version of Frostfall, I can use a fire spell to light vanilla unlit campfires just fine. They don't work with the Campfire skill system or anything, but they provide warmth like regular. However, it just occurred to me that this is because of Sneak Tools (which lets you light and extinguish fires through spells). I didn't even realize this wasn't part of Frostfall/Campfire; it never occurred to me not to try to do it.
