Prowler03
I believe that we now have enough people to start. However, it would be appreciated if more people would sign up for the Forces of Evil. Below are two starting stories, one for good and one for evil... enjoy! -------------------------------------- GOOD You walk into the King's chamber. You notcie people of other races standing around, some talking to eachother and some staying quiet. You take a good look at everybody in the room and you wait a while. However, you do not know why you are here and are desperate to find out what is going on. Eventually, the King's personal bodyguard emerges forward holding a piece of parchment. The adventurers gather around in front of the Throne and go dreadfully silent. The bodyguard starts: "Due to circumstances that cannot be told to you at this precise moment, the King is not able to make your acquaintance. However, he leaves this message for you. My Honourable Adventurers Of Men, Halflings, Dwarves and Elves you are. All of you proud for your own reasons, and brilliant warriors you are. I shall make this short for you. You are to find the book Itradil before the evil mage Dekul gets his hands on it. For now, I cannot tell you how to do it all at one time, so I set you this task. Using eachother, travelling together, you must make your way to the Golden Leaf Inn in Reckin, a small village just North of your current position. Once there, talk to the tavern keeper Morakus. He will tell you where you must go after that. To get to Reckin, you must travel through the Epon Forest and the Reckin Hills, that border the southern fronts of the village. This will be dangerous, and many trials will wait you. You shall leave precisely 1 hour after hearing this message. For now, that is all I can say. Good luck my friends, the fate of our world now depends on you." The guard stops talking, and exits through a side door. There is a buzz of conversation in the room, and knowing you have only 1 hour you start to get your items together. -------------------------- Evil As you feast upon the raw flesh of chicken you are told by a tall orc that you must make Rekal's acquaintance immediatly. You set out to his chambers, and when you enter there are a few others in there. "I shall be quick," starts Rekal "You have 6 days to get to Urndable. This trade town will prove important in our quest. You must get there and kill the Mayor of the town. As soon as he is dead, Urndable shall be in your power. Travel North-East from your current position to get there. When you take the town, one of you must report back to me and tell me of your victory... clear?" You and the others nod, and you leave the room to gather your belongings. -------------------------- GOOD ALIGNMENT. As you leave the keep a messenger comes to you with news. He tells you that Orcs, Demons and other beasts are setting out for Urndable. You know that this is a place of major importance but now the choice is yours. GOOD ALIGNMENT you now have a choice. You can either start by going to Reckin straight away, or you can go South-West to Urndable and try to stop the enemy before it is too late... ------------------------ OOC: Sorry the introductions are small. I have no time to write this, but I want to get started. Have fun, any problems then please PM me thanks Prowler

Sol'Kanar
Smulch cackles to himself with evil delight, setting out for Urndable immediately. He first stops by a vendor and purchases a brown cloak, and wrapping it around himself, and bringing the hood over his head, disguises himself to the best of his ability as a human youth. Taking the road northeast, he heads for Urndable.
Acoran
Akkli, who had been leaning against the wall of the chamber, away from everyone else, tightens the strap holding on his staff and Walks out. He checks his rations and makes sure he has travel equipment(which is little as he's a skilled woodsman) and heads to Urndable. He jogs at a ground eating pace, drawing on is Demon-Half's stamina. Kethruch
Boxox looks at the others scurrying around and laughs a deep, throaty, laugh. "Haven't ye had enough listenin' to yer elders to know that ye cannot change the course of prophecy?" He calls out to the others around. "Those who wish to go to Urndable, go. Those who wish to go to after the book, come wit' me. It may be that it be foretold that a delay in Urndable allows us to get the book first, so I salute those of ye who go to fight our enemies heads on." He gathers his belongings, and waits a few minutes on the road to Reckin before starting off. I wonder if I am going to be the only one choosing this path? he wonders top himself as he turns to make off at a good pace to the north.
Elgen
Anaelos looks in the direction Boxox goes seeing that he is the only one. He decides to turn around and help Boxox with the book.

wesaynothin
Tilaer takes the piece of wheat he was chewing from his mouth, and thrust it upon the ground. "The fool follows his heart. The fool goes for the obvious." Tilaer mumbles, sounding as if he were in but a dream land. He smirks oddly, and with no other words turns to head to Reckin, his cloak twisting and fluttering behind him.
Kethruch
Boxox is happy to see that there are more than just he going to the north. He pauses and waits for the others to catch up. "Greetings, friends," he says as they catch up. "As you probably know by now, I am Boxox Turtlesbane, dwarf warrior with a kick. I believe in doing things right, except in the cases where it keeps them from being done at all. I am glad that I do not make this journey on my own. I believe that the book is the key, and what towns may fall upon the path are mere distractions from the ultimate goal. I am sorry for the people in Urndable, but I want to limit the number of Urndables that there are." With this he turns, his rich travelling cloak flowing out and around him as he does do, and begins to walk toward Relkin at a pace that would invite conversation along the way.
