Virdelet
I role play with a lot of characters, and regardless of the build all of them require Enchanting to be better and majority need smithing as well. But I am sick of the whole tedious circle of level up but I also don't want to ruin the progress by cheating. If there was a mod that maybe levels up during combat? or outside of combat or whatever. As long as you progress towards better enchanting and smithing eventually without having to craft 4398439 Iron Armors.
Kregen
what you realy need is a mod like NPC's can craft in oldrim, for a price you can pay a smith or enchanter to modify or enchant your gear just like it was in morrowind. if that could be ported to newrim I'd be a happy camper
thumbincubation
That's Honed Metal, and it's just been ported over for SSE. It requires SKSE64 and SkyUI, but you can have blacksmiths make or improve armor, and enchanters will enchant. I know Eorlund Greymane can do legendary smithing and Farengar (Whiterun mage) can enchant up to like 20 pts of damage. Also, Arthmoor makes two mods you might like. Ars Metallica, among other things, allows you to scrap armor and weapons to retrieve ingots, but you also gain xp from both that and mining ore. Practice Dummies, allows you to use the training dummies to level your 1H, 2H, destruction (not sure about block, etc) up to 30.

You can set the level of proficiancy, the cost of new weapons and armour and thier upgrades and enchantments and there is a spell that allows you to make any npc a Smith or enchanter. I have used it ever since I have been using mods on skyrim. I do know of the mod you mention but have never used it as I was happy with NPCÃâs can craft, I will however be trying it in newrim as my usuel mod has not been ported yet. Arthmoors mod is a must have, all mod users should have all of his mods in thier load order and I mean all. The training dumies mod is also a usfull mod for speeding up your level progresion. Edit:- Ive just done a search for honed metal on the nexus sse but could not find it could you point me in the right direction a link maybe? thumbincubation
Glad to hear. Hopefully it will do all the same things. I only really ever use Eorlund and Farengar, but they're both working as expected, so far. *** Edit, testing failed. It won't let me disenchant after all. Kregen
Its working out ok for me so far as well, the only real difference so far is that when ordering equipment from a smith I could choose the level of the item that I comisioned, ie novice, journyman or master. That way I could get a good piece of equipment early and cheeply then upgrade it as I made more money.
thumbincubation
Ah, I haven't tried buying it from them as I usually use steel swords throughout, anyway. I have only taken one to be enchanted/upgraded, so far.
