Stillento
https://imgur.com/a/avAIR Like in the image, light only illuminates npcs and objects, not the ground. I thought this was a problem caused by my texture mod so I disabled them, but it was still like that.Help me please :( Here are the mods that I have :Realistic Lighting OverhaulStatic Mesh Improvement ModFlora OverhaulSkyrim 2017 Textures - all of them
yian
Is this a common occurrence? Or is this an isolated incident? Try disable Realistic Lighting Overhaul and see if it is fixed then.
Stillento
It's an isolated incident; it doesn't seem to happen in anywhere else. Ive tried reinstalling the lighting mod, but its not fixed..But when im holding a torch, it illuminates the ground...
yian
Don't try reinstalling. Try disable the mod. I think the mod could be causing it. Also, glitches like this do happen in the game, so if this is only one instance, I think it is probably okay to ignore it. The most likely reason for this to happen is that there isn't a light source either because a mod removed it, or because Bethesda forgot to put one there. In Skyrim, fire doesn't actually cast light or shadow on anything. You need to place an light source there. Torch has a light source attached to it so it will illuminate the ground without problems. Campfires or log fires, on the other hand, do not. Edited October 24, 2017 by yian
