Modded Skyrim CTDs on a specific part of the road to Riverwood

Hello. I was playing my Skyrim run and, on the way to Riverwood, I would always crash. It was always before the gate to Riverwood on the main road. So far, I have not had this problem in any other area of the game (I played the cell escape start so I've been to more than just Helgen before this point) and, strangely enough, I can walk around that specific piece of path by going off the road and arrive at Riverwood just fine. And to check if it magically fixed itself or not, I walked back on the path where the crash occurs, and sure enough, it CTDs on that exact part. More recently, it seems to occasionally crash during loading or (I've only tried this once) looting a corpse. As I'm typing this I'm experimenting, turning on and off mods I suspect of the problem and trying again, but help would be nice.

 

I'm running a custom-made gaming PC (tower, several years old), Windows 10, and Intel Core i5-4430 CPU @ 3.00GHz. 8GB RAM with an AMD Radeon 6900 Series video card. ~4GB VRAM. As for HDD space, it fluctuates, but it is usually around ~80-60GB of space out of ~500 (again, old PC).

 

My Skyrim installation folder is in SteamApps/common/Skyrim, as usual. I think it's running v1.9.32 (that's what TESV.exe says on hover) with v0.1.7.3 SKSE, and I have all DLCs (just the ESM and BSA files, a friend told me it was possible to have the DLCs that way and sent them over to me. So I don't actually own them. BUT!! I have had no problems like that, it works just fine.) I am using NMM v0.63.14, and I also use TES5Edit v3.2.0.0 and LOOT 0.11.0.0.

I have cleaned all of these files with TES5Edit, and have had the load order sorted with LOOT.

 

If someone could help, that would be great. :happy: If any more information is needed, just tell me and I'll try my best to provide it. If I solve it while trial-and-error'ing with my mods I will update the post.

 

EDIT: Ah! I forgot that when reinstalling Skyrim and SKSE, my SKSE.ini was deleted! After adding:

[Memory]

DefaultHeapInitialAllocMB=768
ScrapHeapSizeMB=256

In a new SKSE.ini and installing Stable uGridsToLoad, it seems to work fine. I will test this further to see if the CTDs still occur.
