flameshiva
Hello , I moved Skyrim to a different HD and while nexus can find the new path there is a setting that still thinks its in the old one when I select Skyrim as the game to be modded. So my question is how can I reset this ? If I need to I will just uninstall everything and start again but I thought I'd ask in case there is a simple way of doing this. WastelandAssassin
If you mean NMM , when you open it up , there is an option to rescan installed gamesjust do this , and make sure NMM sees Skyrim in the new locationIf this doesn't help , please explain the exact problem
flameshiva
Sorry if I didn't explain it very well. I mean I already tried that and when re-scanning installed games it detects Skyrim in the new D drive but when I select a game to mod (Skyrim) I get a message saying '' You are missing C/program files/steamapps/etc skyrim.esm is not present. So something in Nexus is still looking for Skyim in the C drive. Possibly when I first set the paths for the mods. I would like to change this anyway if possible. WastelandAssassin
honestly not really sure what to tell youmaybe look at the settings menu of NMM , and see if this has Skyrim in the correct place?on another note , why did you move the game , if I may ask?because if it's a matter of limited space on your C drive , maybe you should switch to Mod Organizer , and set it to install mods to the D drive , while the game is in the original Steam installation foldernot sure if it's recommended to load mods from a different drive , but maybe it'll work
flameshiva
Its accessing Skyrim as normal now. The only thing i can think of which makes me feel a little clumsy if it is the reason is in restarting Nexus Mod Manager. In any case you are right I am starting to run out of room on my SSD and I should look into how I can store mods in a different location. I also have Skyrim Special Edition Installed anyway so I only wanted to move default Skyrim instead of uninstalling for sentimental reasons  . Thanks for replying BTW.
