TheCoolest7248
I am currently making a new version of my old mod Do Your Damn Job Codsworth, however, I have reached an stand still... For the mod, I have smoothed the terrain to make it easier to build on and match Pre-War Sanctuary more. For the past 2 months, I have been trying to navmesh the entire settlement again and I've gotten to the point where I just finished Navmeshing ONE of the TEN cells that make up the settlement. I need a faster way to do this, I can't spend a year and a half on Navmesh alone. So I'm coming here for tips and pointers to help do this process faster, or, if someone was willing, get some help with this. I have tried generating using havok and recast, but they always come out very choppy and doesn't cover close at least a tenth of what I want to Navmesh. For those that may want to help, contact me and I can send you the current build of the mod. Any tips or assistance anyone could provide would help. Thanks. s373ns
I am currently creating an entirely new worldspace. I hate to break it to you, but navmeshing is what it is. You kind of have to learn to love it. Practice using the shortcuts. What I would do is open an empty cell and toss some objects and practice navmeshing around them while utilizing the shortcuts. The quicker you can learn to rapidly lay down navmesh, the less time you will spend struggling in your mod.
