SparkyTheBarbarian Posted October 25, 2017 Posted October 25, 2017 I can get the game to run by running as an admin and by using window mode, so it's not the same old Windows 10 bug questions. Installer mods work fine, but TGA standalone mods do not work. It's as if the game is ignoring the over ride folder. Anyone else run into this?
DarthNorah Posted October 27, 2017 Posted October 27, 2017 Are you fully sure you are placing the override in the correct folder? Check the program files for the exact location of the Kotor game. Also have you tried making sure that Kotors override folder is not marked "read only" KOTOR/files/override. Might be simple solution or something you've done but it's a first step
SparkyTheBarbarian Posted October 29, 2017 Author Posted October 29, 2017 (edited) A reinstall solved the problem. Thanks for the reply, DarthNorah Edited October 29, 2017 by SparkyTheBarbarian
jedibeck16 Posted January 7, 2020 Posted January 7, 2020 I'm still having this problem with the newest update of windows. The override folder always reverts to read only, so I suspect that might be the problem. Is anyone else having the problem with overrides not working? Any suggestions?
Shortymack95 Posted January 14, 2020 Posted January 14, 2020 yea my folder is read only as well mods not working :(
epina1988 Posted January 15, 2020 Posted January 15, 2020 same problem, folder is read only and doesn't change.
JamesRobertH Posted February 5, 2020 Posted February 5, 2020 Hey I was able to change it to not read-only but I'm still not seeing my mods in game. What gives?
