Omegacron
Throughout Fallout 4, there are numerous examples of large brick buildings that are blasted open, and you just walk on in through a wall. I'd like to design something about the size of Fort Strong, but open like that (rather than its own interior cell). Looking through the CK, I couldn't find the kits used for those buildings - just individual walls & such like you'd find in the in-game workshop. I looked at several existing buildings in the CK, including Fort Strong, but instead of a single mesh as in previous games, they appear to be several kit pieces linked together that function like a single mesh. Can someone explain to me how these buildings are created in the CK? Or where exactly in the Object list you can find the linked kits? Surely they don't expect you to build each skyscraper or multi-story building piece-by-piece. Or, if (god forbid) the piece-by-piece process IS the right answer, then can someone explain how the linked/grouped kit pieces work?
