devinpatterson
I can't see the photo mate, Photobucket is crippling our limbs.Ugh, photobucket is truly a craptastic service  Can you upload directly into the response? alas I can't (the quota is very small and I used it up long, long ago) but I uploaded it to nexus's images and re-linked it here; In regard to the clothes, I'd peruse the wiki here and see if there's a raider outfit that is close to what your looking for. It has thumbnail pics so it should be pretty quick to go through. A couple little extra things. I made (well hacked together with the help of monster costumes) some protectrons that used human animations. You can see them here; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CodIZGjdzlI They are actually humans, but you'll notice something interesting about them, when they are "gibbed" robot chunks instead of flesh chunks is flying out. We could do that with ED-E the android if your interested. Hopefully chunks of any kind won't be flying out of your companion, but it also works on blood stains IIRC. It would help to complete the android illusion. Second, it may be possible for me to rig up a weapon that allows ED-E to shoot his/her/it's blaster from the noggin. I have some ideas, that may or may not work out, but I can give it a shot if your interested.

I hate to add more work, but could you shrink the ED-E model a bit (maybe to 50-65% of the original size - or even to about the size of a normal head so hats will work)? He's looking a little top heavy. As for weaponry, I think you could just chop off the blaster from his mesh and let him use a regular laser weapon. The gibs sound like a wonderful idea, as long as they work okay.As for armor, I think a Merc Adventurer/Troublemaker outfit would work fine, maybe give the Upgraded armor entity Leather Armor (any variant) along with the DT boost. Again, thank you for taking the time to do this. Edited November 14, 2017 by TopDatTopHat

Yeah, ED-E is bigger than most eyebots, but no problem to scale it for aesthetic reasons. The gibs sound like a wonderful idea, as long as they work okay. devinpatterson
this is 60%, also cleaned up some vertex groups that were partially weighted to odd bones. Still work to be done to cover the chin without the antennas going through the traps and collar bone. But it gives you a rough approximation. I think 65% is the right size, plus that'd make it a little easier to hide the chin. Thank you for your work. Is it like this for all iterations of ED-E or do you still have to do work on those? Although once the first is done the others should go faster.

devinpatterson
OK here is the final (barring any bugs) for base version of ED-E. I had to remove the lower antennas so they don't clip (upper left insert in pic), pic; Here is a link to the mod/model to play test it. Just unrar to your data folder and select the mod in your launcher of choice. The helmet (and form lists) will be added automatically.

So, is the next step to finish the other two variants and then make ED-E Human?
