ShadowDW
try this https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/5381485-guide-manual-cleaning-skyrim-and-skyrim-special-edition-master-files/ Ok, you should read my post first sir. Doing this creates a very bad loop of CTD issues. This method you have linked has been done and is part of the endless loop. For reference, please READ HERE. wfandrews
Your problem is not with your master files or the cleaning of them. If you want to fix the problem you will have to look elsewhere. Cleaning those files will not cause CTD's. What tools are you using to download and install and sort your load order? Are you using NMM or MO? Are you using LOOT to sort your load order? Have you created a Bash patch; not absolutely necessary but helpful. There could be many reasons for your CTD's but if you remain fixated on those four master files, whether cleaned or not, you will never solve your problem. ShadowDW
Just read my post sir. There is something more than just cleaning those files, and yes, the problem is verified with cleaning those files. I do use NMM and LOOT, and if you read my post, everything was just fine nearly 2 weeks ago. No issues, no CTD's, no nothing, and then ... well, just read the post. Repeating myself seems unnecessary. Again, the problem with the CTD's is verified.
