problem with getting a mod weapon's icon to appear in my ui bar

ive downloaded 2 different weapons mods. Ive downloaded them to desktop then extracted to oblivions data folder......the weapons are in the game and I can equip and use them but when I do...there is no icon for the weapon in my ui. can someone help me fix this?

Some weapon mods don't include icons because the person who made it either didn't feel like using a vanilla icon (even though it may look nothing like the weapon) or their own icon (because it isn't common knowledge, and takes extra time). As long as the weapon actually appears in game, the mod id doing as advertised. Just don't give them a rating higher than 8... It's those small touches that should make all the difference.
