Sometimes the player will not get the quest 'Dampened Spirits' after completion of the prerequisite quest, 'Loud and Clear'. Saving and reloading doesn't apepar to work. (PS3, Jan 8 2012.; Xbox, Jan 11, 2012) Discovered cause: not fully getting "inducted" into the guild. If this has occured, the player will notice a few things: 1. chests in the cistern will simply be tagged as chests rather than guild chests. 2. first speech option for Tonilia will say "What can I get for these" as opposed to "What do you have for sale". All guild members will speak to you as though you are part of the guild, but for some reason you won't actually be in the guild, hence not being allowed to start the quest. No fix has been discovered yet. So, this seems to happens to me... Well, the chests part doesnt happened, but the rest... Tonilia have the same dialogue as if i'm not member and dont give me the armor. Vex still talks as if i'm trying to prove myself and dont give the info about the next mission (In my case, Loud and Clear). Delvin its the same way, talking as if i'm not a member yet, so he wont give me jobs or buy stuff from the missions. Cant open the rest of dialogue with others members, so they treat me as if i'm not a member yet too... And fyi, i did the quests until Scoundrel's Folly, and they remain the same... so... this already happened to someone? if so, how to fix it? this didnt happened to me in my first gameplay (or second or third)... so i return after 1 month or so, install the new patches and BAM... cant finish one of my favorite quests lines. =( So, if any1 knows anything about this bug, please, help me. I tried using console command setstage TG02 0, 10, 20, etc, and it doesn't seem to work. It's been a week and there are no solutions yet (for me). Good luck. Dollyfish Posted April 2, 2012 Share Posted April 2, 2012 I'm glad to see I"m not the only one, but I'm stuck on entering the cistern altogether. Brynjolf has showed me the place, then turns around after I enter down the hall and tells me to leave or else. Then the whole gang comes rushing in to kill me! It's crap!
