ArgonianSkinBoots
Hello everyone,I started working on a new city mod a few years back, I have the visual aspect of it nearly 80-90% completed, but I'm not very proficient with scripting NPCs/Quests, and I simply do not have the time to figure it out anymore. What, or rather who I need, is someone to finish where I left off. The city design itself is nearly complete, minus a few interior cells, and a few glitchy doors. There are a few NPCs, but they have no dialogue and are stationary. I have written a first draft script of where I'd like to go with it quest/storywise.Before I go any further, let me introduce you to my "city" called Deep Folk Crossing and the underground Orc stronghold Mauloch. I chose Deep Folk Crossing because of it's remoteness, because it is relative to the story I have in mind. The chest for the Skyrim mainquest is still there, as to not break the game, and also as I felt it would make a perfect opportunity for a player to find the location.--------------------------------------------------------------What is Deep Folk Crossing and Mauloch?--------------------------------------------------------------Deep Folk Crossing is an illegal mining colony and smuggling operation settled by Breton immigrants. It rests on top of the Dwemer ruins of Deep Folk Crossing, where the colony derives its name. The leader of the colony is a wealthy former treasure hunter named Linus Leonid. The settlers are Breton prospectors who tried to escape the civil war only to find the road back to High Rock had been blocked. Running out of food and supplies, they headed south and formed a colony hidden in Skyrim's western mountains, only to find that the site of the dwemer ruins were rich in ebony. After a few years, the colony expanded from a small village to a fully developed settlement which is becoming increasingly harder to conceal from the Imperials and the outsider loathing Stormcloaks. In an effort to protect the settlement, Linus Leonid made a deal with mercenaries from Hammerfell. He also made a deal with an unlikely character. Argog, an Orc lord who claims to be the son of Malacath and a small army of his followers. Argog offered to protect the inhabitants of Deep Folk Crossing if they were to dig him and his people a tunnel to Orsinium. The orcs, in order to hide their numbers built a separate settlement underneath Deep Folk Crossing called Mauloch. When the Dragonborn arrives, Linus tells him that the Imperials and Stormcloaks have been spotted closer and closer to the settlement. He would like to prevent any bloodshed if possible, and requests that somebody of the Dragonborns stature might be able to convince one of the Jarls to grant the colony a legal permit in exchange for a sizeable portion of their resources. --------------------------------------------------------------What has been done so far?---------------------------------------------------------------Both cities exteriors are 90% complete, they are missing minor aesthetics and NPCs.-Most buildings in Deep Folk Crossing have interiors, none of the buildings in Mauloch have interiors yet-Some Redguard mercenaries and Orc guards have been generated, but none have been scripted-There is a player house in Deep Folk Crossing called Eastwatch, most of the interior is finished--------------------------------------------------------------What needs to be done?---------------------------------------------------------------Mauloch needs decorated interior cells and NPCs with dialogue-Deep Folk Crossing, most interior cells need decorating-Deep Folk Crossing needs NPCs with dialogue-Both cities may need better lighting effects-Sawmill doesn't function properly-Blacksmith needs working "crafting"-stations ie. Anvils, Forges, etc.-Door animations are glitchy-Eastwatch needs functioning weapon mounts-Eastwatch needs to ID'd as a player house -Need NPC for Linus Leonid, plus dialogue, and quest triggers-Meeting Hall needs more decor-Quests need to be scripted ---------------------------------------------------------------What I need exactly---------------------------------------------------------------I started this project a few years ago. I'm not really good with script writing and my current occupation prevents me from spending the time I need to finish the project. At this point, I'd be willing to hand the project over to someone who is competent with scripting. Someone who appreciates the story I have in mind, and has the knowledge of lore to expand upon it. All that I ask, is that I am given some credit for the project.----------------------------------------------------------------Screenshots----------------------------------------------------------------Deep Folk Crossing Screenshot Gallery: https://imgur.com/a/pFMbLCity of Mauloch Screenshot Gallery: https://imgur.com/a/pFMbL Edited October 30, 2017 by ArgonianSkinBoots
