How about just selling the weapons and armor drops for the money?  Also, you could opt to NOT build such weapons and armors...  Sell the dragon bones and scales for cash...

If you don't like the bone armor and weapons, don't use them.

no, he's right!
If you play with armor mods that add crafting books and slots to the forge you get to the point where you have exaggeratedly long menus.
Would you need something that allows you to hide the contents you don't want like leather armor? In short, there is an almost empty forge menu, at first I was convinced that then you would unlock other armor...
That was not the case.

Maybe I read it wrong, but it seems to me he was saying a mod that eliminates dragon weapons (and armor?) for the player character - period.  I'm thinking, 'Well, if he doesn't want his character to use those items, then just don't use them.'

But if I misunderstood, and what he was saying was for a mod that creates a better organization of menu items in the crafting menu....  Well then, I really misunderstood.

no he was talking about deleting content, I think the most plausible motivation is that some vanilla content is actually...
They are obsolete, useless!
Also because there are much better creation club replacements.
His statement highlighted a much more serious problem than a trivial whim, his question hides a deep flaw in the game mechanics, apparently it seems like a simple request, but in reality it highlights that there is a substantial problem.
A modular mod of this kind would be complex from a programming point of view, but the benefits would be extreme!
There are some armors and weapons created by the community that are heavily superior in graphic quality and performance (Asura Guard armor),
finally it would have been better if dragon bones were used as currency, extra loot that scaled on the oratory skill, completely removing them from the equipment. There are really beautiful creation club weapons!

I could and I do. But choosing to gimp myself while playing takes any illusion of struggle out of the experience. I'd like to remove the option, instead of opting out. Also, having that stuff in the loot/vendor lists, means I miss out on something else there I might find useful.

Thank you for taking the time to reply and have a nice day!

Agreed. Items (and materials) add in expansion and DLC eclipse vanilla items in scale of power, and makes most of the game trivial. I do not use AE, even though I own it, because things like the early gold armor, the bow that makes you invisible and such other items.

A shame modding it would be a hassle.

Thank you for taking the time to answer my question and have a nice day!

Is there a way to add my ideal NPC body into Skyrim while still maintaining variety in NPC bodies, so that only some NPCs have that body? To put it differently, is there a way of adding multiple custom BodySlide presets into the game and distributing them randomly (or even formulaically) among NPCs?

Yes----ish. For many NPCs with a named recognition by Skyrim (ie it has its own folder where its resources are kept) you can generate Bodyslide content - mesh & tri files - and direct its output to the NPC mesh folder, either directly via a direct path change to the folder (use Bodyslide Settings advanced to change the output path... and don't forget to reset it after your Bodyslide work for the NPC is complete), or indirectly via a dummy staging folder and manually copy paste into place in the folder. (archive the originals first to avoid potential downstream "ooh darn, I shouldn'ta overwrote that!" situations.

You'd also need to address any NPC-specific texture issues, and likely have to edit the meshes (via nifskope, after they've been generated by Bodyslide) to make sure textures are pointed to correctly (Bodyslide tends to treat everything as if it was a player asset, so references are often automatically made to player textures unless redirected to a given NPC's own content by a replacer mod or a manual edit...)

Finally, IFF you have any global override mods like Autobody or similar, you'll need to inject exceptions to their handling so they don't overwrite or otherwise modify your NPC/follower "accidentally" as part of their native behavior

Hello everyone, please tell me, I'm looking for a mod that would fix the floating sheaths/weapons of NPCs, it's very annoying to see this. I tried to search on the nexus, but I didn't find anything :(

Hi, I need help

Ive realised im missing a mod for hearthfire interior that added a secret wardrobe with a hidden back wall - the wardrobe was on the first level, between the bedrooms.
It had a daedric gauntlet (like the one below winterhold college to summon the daedra pirate) to hold rings and stashes for all the treasures, magic books and so on. It had special holders for daedric artifacts and so on.

Now im kinda desperate because i cannot find the mod in my history anymore and all my good stuff was in that wardrobe...

Edit:  Im sure it was a mod, and it also changed the enchanting table and alchemy table in the hearthfire homes to have way more detail and storage like tiny chests and a shelve for potions, and a shelve to hold dragon claw keys and dragon priest masks
it was very similar to "HearthFires - Unique Display Rooms - SSE" - but not quite the same

Edit 2:
I found it
"Additions to Lakeview Heljarchen and Windstad SE"
No idea why it didnt show up in my download history anymore

thanks for reading through my inner ramblings

Thanks for sharing the name of those mods.  I'm going to have to have a look at them!

Also, I'm glad you solved your problem!
