Ancient Towers question...

Hi all…I have a question about the Ancient Towers mod…

 

It's a really cool mod - my first actually, and am blown away by how detailed it is.

 

My main question is - I am currently going thru the Mages' guild quests, and coming up upon the Mannimarco quest.

I see there is a conflict with this mod and the 'Mannimarco Resurrected: Ayleid Ruin'. Is this going to be a show-stopper? If so, can I just uncheck it in the mod manager, complete the quest, then re-check it later and continue where I left off? I took a couple items out of the towers. Will they disappear if I stop using the mod? FYI I'm a level 17 battlemage.

 

Also, how on earth do you dispose of the Knights outside? I got rid of the one at the main entrance only by trapping him in the nearly OB gate and closing it on him!

1.Yes there is a conflict(Says in the mod description) http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=163082 down a bit .No that Mannimarco mod is optional to expand on that character you will still be able to do the Mage's Guild quest.3. Uncheck then recheck should work key word (should),try it to see.But you will get the, this saved game may have items no longer available (Continue?) message.Unless you use a clean save i.e before you played the AT mod.4. See above if you are talking about stuff unique to the mod like the Gem/ancient ruby weaponry or some stuff from the Labratory will likely disappear,other Oblivion standard stuff should be safe.5.See 4.

6. If you took the uber Gem/Ancient Ruby weapons then you can slay them fairly easily. Or enchant a weapon with a telekinetic effect to trip them or send them flying or go in with a Deadric artifact to whoop butt (pick one http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Artifacts Wabbajack would turn them into something else you can handle,hopefully.)or ~ key for console click on them type kill, boom dead. Or tgm for godmode.Be creative.

Thanks, tokingtolkien, I understand now.

 

I thought 'Mannimarco Resurrected' was part of the guild quest - not a mod. Thanks for clearing that up. and for the advice. In fact, I'm going to download that mod now and give it a try.

 

So much to do - so little time!
