Error Messages in NifSkope

Triforce1

Hey, I am having a problem in NifSkope. I am trying to add a texture to a copy of the Arcane University Walls (inside wall 01 right now, but eventually the other inside, the outsides, and the _far's). To do this, I know I need to open the model up in NifSkope and change the location of the .dds it is tied to. Problem is, when I try to open up the wall, I get this error message window and the model won't show up. Can someone interpret this message for me and tell me how I can open up this model?

This is the message I get:

"array "Constraints" much too large. 85647632 bytes requested"

"failed to load block number 6 (bhkRigidBody) previous block was bhkMoppBvTreeShape"

"failed to load nif from 'C:/Program Files/Bethesda Softworks/Oblivion/Data/Meshes/Triforce1/Glacia/GlaciaInnerWall01.nif'"

... ... ...

Dunno, all the walls seem to open up fine for me (opened icauinnerwall01.nif). Maybe it was an issue which happened durring export, or something else about it which was modified. Maybe even older/newer version of nifscope (using 0.9.8 )?

Try re-extracting it from the .bsa

Okay, I didn't export it at all. (Checking as I type here) The only thing I modified was the name and the location, but I copied the file first, and that hasn't been a problem in the past. I tried re-extraction; I didn't change anything this time. I just opened the .nif, and the same error occured. Oh, hey, the _far versions of the exterior walls will appear (??)! Wierd. The version I am using is 1.0.8 . Could that be it? Maybe I'll just use the _far .nif's...they aren't invisible from one way or another, so they'll do. But I'd still like to know what the problem is.

Dunno, maybe an issue with that version of nifscope. Probably trying to read some of that data which is part of the havok for the walls (which is why the _far version works. Try finding an older version of nifscope, and trying then.

I've opened stables, houses, armor, weapons, creatures, skeletons, and all sorts of other stuff in this version of NifSkope. Surely this particular model wouldn't have such weird Havok that NifSkope couldn't load it! I mean really. But tomorrow, I will go looking for another version of NifSkope. I'll tell you how it goes.

Actually, it might, since that is a fairly large static with many points in its havok mesh. Who knows, there might even be some flaw in the mesh which was unnoticed till now. You should still pobably mention it over at the niftools forum.
