Change Inventory Slot?

Hello,

 

i would like to wear the West Tek Tactical Optics under a Helmet + Hood from the Mercenary Pack

 

But i can only have one thing at a time, either the chinese optics from west tek or the hood.

My question is: Can i edit the inventory slot or something like this, so i can euip both of them at the same time?

Would be really cool. :)

yes you should be able to but i guess it kinda depends on what helmet and hood from the merc pack you're trying to wear the chinese optics with- you may get some possible clipping, idk.

 

anyways, it's very easy to change the slots they use with fo4edit. when you open up fo4edit, right click and select none and then select the mercenary pack and west tek and press ok. when fo4edit is done loading, in the left window press the plus sign to open the drop down menus for west tek and mercenary pack.

 

what you will want to change can be found in the Armor and Armor Addon submenus. in the right window of fo4edit you will want to look for a heading that says "BOD2- Biped Body Template" and to the right of that will list what slots the item uses. you'll want to right click and select edit and change the slots that way. make sure you change the body slot for both armor AND armor addon menus for any item you change though. hope this helps
