[LE] CK 64-bit - Problems with dropping object to ground

So I'm having this problem, which I honestly assume is just me accidentally toggling a setting somewhere, but I can't for my life find any info about it.
When you drop the object with the F-key, it's supposed to stop when its mesh touches the mesh or collision box of the next object below it, right? This seems to work as it should in the 32-bit version, but in the 64-bit one it instead drops to the selected object's pivot point.
Does anyone have a clue where to change this setting, or if there is one at all?
