Oruboris Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 I stopped playing the Elder Scrolls games a few years back when my heavily modded Oblivion caused my hard drive to overheat and loose everything... back then, I think I spent more time playing *with* the mods than actually playing the game. I lost 'em all, didn't feel like starting over I've enjoyed vanilla Skyrim, but the fun is fading so I'm ready to add some mods. But I'm unclear on why some of them are labeled either 'Acer' or 'noAcer'. Is there a simple explanation?
JimboUK Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 Can you give an example? Its not something I've ever seen.
worldofscotty Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 (edited) http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=10758 I think it's just the name of the guy who did it Edited March 13, 2012 by worldofscotty
Anya29 Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 (edited) Someone who is not a natural english speaker using the wrong word to describe what he means? Acer - vanilla, default, the games basic body meshno Acer - not using the vanilla game meshes At least I thought that until I found an "Acer one" also using 3rd party meshes. Oruboris Posted March 14, 2012 Author Posted March 14, 2012 World of Scotty has it: mostly in the armor mods for improved bodies. Some say 'Acer' some 'noAcer', most mention neither. I was stressing that there were some compatibility issues... Thanks all for taking a moment to read this. Realized after the fact that I shoulda put it in the Mods section: sorry, my bad. Currently having issues downloading any mods on my slow, rural DSL, so until I can upgrade to a premium account it's all moot. Thanks again, though!
