Torqus1
Hello, I can't seem to find a clear answer about this anywere.I have some merged patches made with "Merge Plugins" for skyrim, with merged I mean ' A, B ,C ' turned into ' ABC ', not Merged Patch.I've merged 6 or 7 sets of plugins, including some patches like the CACO Patches and mods like Cloaks with Winter is Coming, some of those were green in Wrye Bash meaning they could be included in the Bashed Patch with leveled lists. So now my question is, is it ok to make the merges, open Wrye and make the Bashed Patch selecting the merged plugins with the originals disabled, or should I create the Bashed Patch and then merge the plugins after that and disable the originals? EDIT: Also I noted that Rebuilding the Bashed Patch doesn't detect the Merged Plugins that had individual files that could be bashed before. Maybe I have to add the Merged Plugins manually to the list for the Bashed Patch? Edited November 2, 2017 by Torqus1
DarkRudra
So now my question is, is it ok to make the merges, open Wrye and make the Bashed Patch selecting the merged plugins with the originals disabled, Yes, do that one. When you create the merged plugin with Merged Plugins, it may sometimes renumber formids to avoid conflicts. If that happens and you make the Bashed Patch before making the merged plugin, the Bashed Patch won't reflect the renumbered formids. Badness may happen. As for rebuilding the Based Patch not detecting - were all the individual plugins ones that could be Bashed before? If one of them wasn't, then that may be why the merged plugin is not getting detected. Otherwise, I don't know.
