[LE] Using non-vanilla textures and bodies on custom followers

when you export the Face you get a .nif and a .dds like this Tianna.nif Tianna.dds, copy the .dds file and paste it in textures/actors/character/facegendata/facetint/Tianna.esp (the mod), there are a numeric .dds file, copy the filename of this numeric .dds and delete it, change the name of Tianna.dds (the .dds you put in) and paste the name of the numeric .dds, this should fix the unmatching skin



SKSE/plugins/CharGen/Tianna.dds copy this file and paste in

textures/actors/character/facegendata/facetint/Tianna.esp <- Your mod

textures/actors/character/facegendata/facetint/Tianna.esp/0000AA17.dds <---copy this name (not this one, copy the one of your mod) and delete it, now change the file Tianna.dds name to the name you copied (0000AA17)

Right so I did that and she showed up, she was still bald but the skin matched and then she turned invisible, and not via a spell effect either. She had her voice and I could interact with her but se was just invisible, no blood or anything if I slashed her

I apologize, I'm not experienced with this kind of stuff and I really appreciate the help

 

EDIT: Never mind about the disappearing thing, it happened just the once and hasn't occurred again since

(Also how do you edit the weight in the CK?)

here, but you should set the weight at the same of you exported face, if you exported your face with 50 weight, you should set 50.0000, if you set a different weight you probably will get invisible neck

 

 

 

 

 

 

about the hair, what hair mod are you using?
