bahamut13
that is, when I go dungeon crawling with my long-range companions they always seem to blast me in the back with arrows and fire balls. They do more damage to me than most monsters do. there should be a mod that can nullify attack damage from...probably people in the same faction as you. it would probably help in melee when you decide to go chop crazy and accidentally start mowing down your companions too. don't know if this is possible. just a suggestion. Vagrant0
Unfortunately there aren't any systems that allow this between NPCs and the player. The only system that does exist "special combat" only works between NPCs, and only covers melee attacks. Having more friendly hits allowed, and removing disposition issues related to assults can reduce the chances that allies will end up turning on you, or eachother, but won't negate the damage you can do to them, or the damage that they can do to you. As far as NPCs go, they both have to be in the same faction, which usually isn't possible due to them being seperate mods, and there only being a few common factions. The game really wasn't designed to allow any sort of companions. Compare the Arena Fan with those companions that were in Morrowind. Arena fan, and most of the other standard companions are next to worthless in the long run. This was likely intentional in order to cover up some of the significant flaws in the game.
