ninjaseikai Posted June 6, 2008 Share Posted June 6, 2008 Hey, Ive been trying for weeks now trying to make a spell but i have no idea how to script. can someone make a vampire spell that reanimates the dead just like a reanimate spell, but instead reanimates them as vampires? also have it added to the vampires at vampirism lvl 25 and only 25. id like it if the duration of the spell lasted a very long time. i don't need scripts for partners or for following me but feel free to add it if you do. if you decide to undertake this mod and make it please let me know through e-mail. i check that way more than i check this. LoginToDownload Posted June 6, 2008 Share Posted June 6, 2008 Vampires in TES don't really work that way, so it would be against lore, and resurrect generally causes trouble when used in "general" situations, unless you simply want them to be generic vampires instead of retaining their former identity. The Reanimate spell effect in vanilla can't really be altered to do anything else with it, or replicated (with changes or otherwise). You can turn them into vampires-complete with AI behavior-while they're still alive with Spreading Vampirism, though. I already have the spreading vampirism mod. i was just looking for something to make vampires in battle with, as lesser spawns or w/e. i combine this with a zombie mod and the zombies spread much faster than i can spread my vampires so they always win>.< Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

ninjaseikai Posted June 6, 2008 Author Share Posted June 6, 2008 alright, but where would i put this script? would i make a new spell with it? and if i do would i have to put the spell into any categories or would it just run the script like that. or do i have to go into the vampire script and add it there? it seems the script doesn't work, i go into the cs and copy paste it into a new script page and it says "scrptPRGReanimateSpell line 10: unknown variable to me" and so it wont let me save it for use. ninjaseikai Posted June 9, 2008 Author Share Posted June 9, 2008 OK so i made the spell and everything but i cant get it to show up in my menu. and like i said I know nothing about script but looking at it it looks like its a spell to reanimate myself after I the player dies. is that what it is? GBHis Posted June 10, 2008 Share Posted June 10, 2008 I created a proof-of-concept mod yesterday...But the NPC didn't look nowhere like a vampire. (That's what ye' wanted, nay?) It fighted like a vampire, had the vampire abilities/spells, etc, though.
