Would like some help with my idea

Ok, so where I live has very bad internet or just bad connection issues. So I tend to go elseware to download as much as I can- I have a laptop which I take everywhere and my computer at home, I am downloading a ton of mods for Skyrim.

Here is what I have been doing;

Ctrl + X the mod names from a .txt file and google them, once I load up a couple tabs I start running through them, I check installations, make notes if they have extra after downloading and I manually download the mods.

Once I get the files transferred to the main computer I import them into Nexus Mod Manager unless the mod instructions say I shouldn't.

I wonder if this is the right way or if there is possibly a better way to do this, would any of you have some tips?

I have thought about downloading them with Nexus, but for some reason that seems more difficult. With manual if there are patches and extra files I can easily merge them.

(Sorry if this is in the wrong thread, I am new to the forums)
