Getting CTD's at startup since installing / uninstalling the People of Skyrim Complete mod

Hi!

 

Before this, my game worked flawlessly with SKSE 2.0002 installed.

 

But just after installing and uninstalling the mod abouve via NMM, because It wasn't my cup of tea. The CTD's started to happend. I have checked this using LOOT, but no problems reported. I tried to start a new game but that didn't help much either.

 

Finally I used the Papyrus to crash log wich gave me this error information:

 

01:47:04PM] error: Unable to bind script defaultOnHitActivateLinkedRef to (8202E825) because their base types do not match

 

But this is like Chinese to me.

 

Anyone here that can translate this and tell me what's wrong?

Have you read and followed the mod authors instructions for installing and making his mod compatible with other mods ie Vurts Floral overhaul?

 

If you installed and then uninstalled this mod into an ongoing game, never a good idea, you will probably have to go back to a save before you installed this mod. Otherwise I am afraid you pretty much borked that profile.

Well, I found out that it was the game installation itself that was the problem. So I did a fresh installation. But now LOOT can't find the game. :sad: And I have tried several ways to try to make LOOT find the SE installation without any sucess. The debug log says

 

[error]: None of the supported games were detected.

I think the point of people of skyrim is to not use it with any mods.....

Could be like you say. But after an unistallation of this mod in NMM, one would think it does'nt matter?

My guess is you may have to reinstall LOOT to refresh the installation path. I had to do the same thing the last time I did a fresh install.

Hi!

 

Thanks for the tip.

 

I found out what did cause the problem yesterday. I made the misstake not to remove the old installation folder after the game uninstallation. Wich made the new installation end up in the old folder with a renamed folder to "Skyrim SE". So I did another round of uninstalling and installing making sure that I removed any old folder first. Now the game, LOOT etc. runs fine again. :smile:
