Doors don't work / missing interiors

So I have a problem where randomly doors don't work anymore, or rather the interiors of the buildings are gone. Instead of it saying the name of the building you're entering it just says, "open door." When you click on it, the doors move, but that's it, you don't enter the building, and walking against them does nothing. The door's connection to the interior, or the interior itself doesn't get loaded.

This happened earlier in White Run, but an earlier reload solved that problem. I'm now in Windhelm, and entering the inn (Candlehearth?) and leaving it, ALWAYS produces this problem. I've already loaded further back, I've tried ignoring it for a while longer and then going in; it doesn't matter, enter the inn, do whatever inside, and leaving it, breaks all the doors. It's not too much of problem this time around, I can just avoid the inn, I'm assuming the quest givers inside will leave by morning and get the quests then without ever setting foot inside, but...

What if it ever happens to a place you are required to go, that you can't avoid, and it's the "can't be solved by a save" level problem of this bug?

So here I am, hoping someone understands where this problem comes from, and how to prevent it.

1,) Have you modded your game?
2.) If you modded, have you sorted your load order with LOOT?

3.) Have you cleaned Update, Dawnguard, Hearthfires, Dragonborn and other dirty mods with SSEEdit ?

4.) Have you added any mods that change any of the building, towns, cities?

5.) If you have added any mods that changed any of the items in #4, have you tried running the game without those mods?

I had this issue with a personal mod that I was working on.... or rather 2 mods,

but what was happening was that I had part of an interior location split between two

plugins. took me a while to figure it out...

I have since rebuilt the room in only one mod, and have been able to

link the two areas together with the teleport markers.

however, it sounds as if your game has load order issues, corrupted saves and/or game files.

go into the game, and make sure your character is outside, save, and exit out of the game.

Verify your game cache 1st (through steam)

then either with MO, or NMM, resort your load order with LOOT,

go back into the game and immediately make a save, before you even move,

exit out of the game all the way to the desktop,

then restart the game and load the save you just made.

if that doesn't work, report back, and I'll make a couple more suggestions.
