Better camera controls?

My brother and I grabbed NWN2 during the Steam christmas sale, but neither of us can stand to play it with the godawful camera controls... Since we're expanding into this community I figured it'd be an ideal time to ask, are there any mods which fix that?

 

All I'd really want is the standard always-on mouse rotation with WASD oriented on the camera rather than the character (turning is so slooooow) but I could never get any setup like that to work.

Same here. I'd like to play that IWD remake but the camera is garbage. I'm looking for something that offers camera movement and control like in NWN for NWN2.

The camera can helped a bit by changed the settings in the .ini file, look here for details:

I use these settings for character mode:

[Character Mode Options]
Mouse_Turn_Min=0.050000 
Mouse_Turn_Max=3.000000

You can use the same settings for the other two modes. No more hyper-sensitive camera turning.

 

I also use Kornstalx's NWN2 Hotkeys v1.05a to swap the middle and right buttons and add a few shortcuts and context actions.

It has some camera controls preset by the community built in, so you don't have to try to find your own, you can just try some presets people have made.
