mikvat
Hello everyone! Let me first say that I am pretty new to modding but I will try to explain as good as possible. Hope someone could help me. Fallout 4 updated itself and I installed the new version of F4SE (installed i Fallout 4 main folder).I started Fallout 4 through "f4se_loader.exe". Then I got a message for each mod that wasn´t compatible with F4SE and/or the game (not sure which it is): LooksmenuBetter ConsoleClockWidgetMod Config Menu So I thought that I would disable these mods until they were updated. Worked fine with Looksmenu. I don´t get a message about that one anymore. But the messages still appear for the other three mods (see image). I have even uninstalled them but that doesn´t help. After I click "ok" on these messages the screen turns black as if the game is about to start, then a second later I am back to desktop. Does anyone know why F4SE still thinks I have these mods installed? They don´t appear in the loadorder in the game, not in NMM, LOOT and not in the document "plugins.txt". Will it correct itself when the mods get updated and I install them again? I have installed F4SE first by copying the files to Fallout 4 main folder and when the installer appeared I used it instead. I made sure the old files were either removed manually or uninstalled. Even the file "f4se_1_10_26" was removed. I am stumped. Anyone knows what might be going on? Other applications I have installed are Creation Kit, FO4Edit, Nexus Mood Manager and LOOT. Thank you for your help! Mikael
WastelandAssassin
the reason these messages appear is because you haven't actually uninstalled these modsyou see , these are all UI mods , and as far as I recall , none of them have pluginsif you want to remove these mods , go to their nexus pages , and follow the uninstall instructions (that specifies exactly which files you need to remove from your game's folder)or you can wait until they update (though I can't tell you if and when this will happen) as a side note , know that removing mods from an existing save isn't recommended , and might break your gamein particular something like MCM could break your game , if you have any mods utilizing it (at least I think so , and frankly I wouldn't want to test it)so if you want to use an existing save , make sure that removing these mods won't break it (again , look at the mod's pages , maybe they'll have the answers for this)
SharraShimada
You use NMM. So i would asume, you just disabled the mod, but not uninstalled. Disabling removes it only from the plugins list, but leaves everthing in place. So the scripts for F4SE are still there, and F4SE will still run them on startup.Proper uninstallation is: Find the mod in NMM, right click, select uninstall or delete, then click on "from acitve profile". Only then its removed. Disabling is one of the most futile features of NMM, because it causes trouble everytime. And because its the default action, when you double-click an installed mod, everone thinks its an uninstaller...

mikvat
All of them have now been updated by the authors except for Better Console but I guess that is only a matter of time since it is the same author as ClockWidget.
